The Automatic Electric Airsoft gun series form the latest weapons to emerge from Japan. These guns utilize a simple gearbox and motor that powers a piston and cylinder, propelling BBs at tremendous distances. The gearbox setup of these guns is also capable of firing at up to 18 rounds per second. The Automatic Electric Gun tends to be the most popular for Airsoft gamers because of its range and firepower. The electric powered mechanisms of these guns are usually encased in a large gun that has a high capacity magazine along the scale of a submachine gun or rifle configuration. Other unique selections in this category include the guns found in popular science fiction movies; Mini Airsoft guns, which are compressed and exaggerated copies of actual rifles and submachine guns. The Mini's are a great start for getting into Airsoft. HOW ELECTRIC AIRSOFT GUNS WORK? This type of BB Guns incorporates a battery powered motor, transmission gearing, and circuit board onto the assembly of the air piston. These guns do not require manual cocking of the piston head for every shot since the motor and gears perform the cocking action, releasing the piston at the moment of trigger pull. The speed at which the motor and gears perform the entire action is within a fraction of a second, allowing for near instantaneous firing response. The circuit board is connected directly to the trigger pull for each shot. The constant pull on the trigger with the selector dial at full allows for a constant flow of electrical stream from the battery to the motor. This action keeps the entire firing system in continuous motion until the trigger releases pressure. Recent advances in Air Electric design even allows for the user to control the number of shots fired during burst mode by adjusting the circuit board setting. |
